Mistletoe ready to hang in the doorway

Take a little mistletoe home to hang in your doorway, (Why is it hung in the doorway?) to steal a kiss from unsuspecting maidens.

Come and learn what mistletoe has to do with kissing and what holly has to do with going into battle.

Terri will involve us in a holiday celebration that will demonstrate Pagan, Christian & seasonal usage of plants to commemorate the fall & winter celebrations.

Learn the origin of why, how & when the plants were first used, and what these historical uses of the plant indicate.

Terri Cusson is going to introduce us to some common and some not so well-known ways to celebrate WINTER and the plants that are usually associated with these Ceremonies & Festivities. No slides or “sit still” lecture..  this is a celebration you can bring the family to…

Get your drink from the Wassail Bowl, & start learning and experiencing the holidays as the ancients did…

She is focusing on the pagan roots of Christmas evergreen traditions.

We will drink wassail and make a few seasonal decorations.

I hope I see you there!
